Very nice. Subsurf seems unnecessary. You could use a slight yellow or red for SPEC to hint at wax or varnish (white seems wrong). Also, you could paint a SPEC Map for the highly-polished parts (which you sculpted, nicely). Since you used the same texture as for your table, maybe a different Mapping?
I like the modeling of the legs, and the texturing/shaders, but the proportions seem quite odd. I've modeled several chairs and these seem to have extremely high backs.
I appreciate both of the constructive comments. I will keep these things in mind for future blends.
Great work! And i really like the proportions of the back chair.If you look at the big designers/architects of the 20th century,you'll find examples like :Goncalo Alves hall chairs,and the famous icon architect CHARLES RENNIE MACKINTOSH,and many many others,that inspires the design world even today. Thanks again,and please continue to make new furniture models.It's a big help for a nub like me :-)
