This project is an attempt to create a digital reproduction of a ring that I have. It is a handcrafted silver ring that I bought years ago.

The symbol on the ring is from devanagari scripts and has religious background in the far east. I interpret it as peace and harmony with yourself and the people around you, though don't get me wrong, I'm not superstitious.

The ring was created using a torus object and for the OM symbol I simply extruded the faces starting from a cube. The difficulty was to merge both objects together and to create a clean mesh which I think I honestly couldn't really achieve.
