Blend Swap and Render Street Offer

 

Disclamer: you very seldom see reviews or suggested services here on Blend Swap. That's because I don't really think this is what the site is for, but I have personally used Render.st in my professional jobs and I stand by it, which is the only reason that we are offering this to our Associate Members. 

As some of you may know I got the chance to use a renderfarm on a recent commercial project at my day job. After looking at about a dozen renderfarm solutions and testing many. I decided to go with render.st and I wasn't disapointed. They really do have a top notch service that's easy to use, resonable priced and FAST. 

So we've teamed up with Render Street to offer our Associate Members a coupon for 2 months of Render Street's Silver Plan for free. What's that mean? Render Street has multiply server plans you can view here. When you sign up for Render Street you get $25 free Bronze rendering, so if you where to render out say this image:

Using the standard Bronze Plan @ 1920x1080 500 samples in cycles the render time took 14 mins and cost roughly one dollar. Now that might not seem like a big deal, but lets consider that on my computer the same render took 1 hour and 22 minutes. So you can see how this might add up over time.

Now when doing a single frame on the Silver plan you're not going to see any differance in render times, where you will really see a differance in rendering on Bronze vs. Silver is in complex animations. 

So how do you get a coupon? Well first you must be an Associate Member, then you can send me a message @mofx via Blend Swap's messages service on your dashboard or reply in the comments that you would like a coupon. I will then send you back a message with your coupon code. Head on over to render.st either signup for a new account or sign in to your existing account. Once logged in click the billing tab on the left hand side and enter your coupon in the Apply a Coupon field and that's it.
