Introducing: Weekend Challenges!

We're happy to announce that we're releasing today a new feature on the site: Weekend Challenges!

A couple Fridays a month, the Blend Swap admins will create a new Weekend Challenge in the form of a Blend Request, which you have complete before monday, to win extra download bandwidth for each response you submit!

Each challenge will have a different bandwidth reward, and of course you will get a brand new badge for completing Challenges.

What is so special about this prize bandwidth is that it doesn't expire every month, it is kept untouched in your acount until you spend it; and depletes as you use it, and not incycles[1]. will allow you to go over your monthly limit any time you exhaust it.

Check it out now, complete it, upload it and respond to the request for 200 Megabytes extra download bandwidth!

[ 1 ] The extra bandwidth does not increase or reset every month, it is just not subtracted from until you use it, but once it depletes that's it, until you complete more challenges. We also started rewarding 10 MB extra bandwidth to those completing normal blend requests. ;)
