Description
This has been done in response to a request here on blendswap. Not sure if it can be used for a game or not, not very clear on what constitutes a game ready model but here it is. It has a high poly count but it is reaslitic-ish which was one of ther criteria. Hope it can be used. Done in cycles and is textured with textures found on plaintextures.com with the exception of the logo on the wheel. Everything is parented and very minor restraints have been put of parts to limit the rotation to a single axis.

Cool, cool. I remember being in my freshmen year of highschool and us taking a field trip to the local college and playing wheelchair basketball. So much fun. Also gives you a whole new respect for the kindof work it takes to be able to get good at a game like that.
I agree. I have a tremendous amount of respect for anyone who overcomes a disability and achieves success.

Hey Mike, you did a really good job in modelling. not really sure, if it is realistic, while seeing these wheel chairs always seem to be not as comfortable and sporty as your model. Thanks for the compliment but it's modeled after an actual wheelchair made by Sopur. It's a sport wheelchair for athletes with disabilities. I didn't make this up, I'm not that inventive. I made this in response to a request and the user requesting it posted a picture of the actual wheelchair he wanted modeled. This is it. It's not an invention that hasn't been made yet, it's a wheelchair that is currently in circulation.
Fantastic work! I'm slightly confused about the license, though. The license on the site says CC-0, but the license in the download says CC-BY. Which is accurate? I'd been hoping to make some characters to redistribute as CC-0, so if this is CC-BY then I won't be able to include that in the same package. Thanks so much!
