Twisted Minimal Surface

Description

In mathematics a minimal surface is a surface that locally minimizes its area. Here you have an example.

This shape is not my own development. It is based on a tutorial by ASopticom in Greek language [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_nGoWTP0mE](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_nGoWTP0mE)]. Though I do not understand Greek I succeeded in following the main way. For the round brim I found another solution.

For those who are interested in creating this interesting shape themselves I have made a tutorial in PDF. It is downloadable here [in English](https://www.dropbox.com/s/f7e3fz0he5ktsrm/How%20To%20Model%20a%20Twisted%20Minimal%20Surface.pdf?dl=0) and [in German](https://www.dropbox.com/s/rst531evu9zhhw9/Modellieren%20einer%20Twisted%20Minimal%20Surface.pdf?dl=0).

unkerjay, sorry, I became aware of your message only now, therefore I didn´t answer before. Please try once more, for me it worked perfectly today.
