Good photographs but can someone explain me how a blend swap project that doesn't include any blend file or any computer graphics work for that matter gets staff picked ? The images are good and usable for CGI (with quite some work to make proper maps) but it's not like there isn't any dedicated website for uploading photographic textures, under free licenses or not (pixabay, 500px, etc...). Just to clarify, the reason I'm concerned about this is because it just makes asset management and collecting very messy. Some people (like me) like to make online collections (just like what Blendswap lets you do) instead of filling their hard drive with files they will use very seldomly. So if we have to always check on unrelated websites for each step of our work process it becomes quickly a time sink. The fact that you uploaded this here is not a big problem for me, but the fact that the Blendswap team approves of it to this degree means this practice is encouraged, so it will only get more and more confusing.
