Rusty Metal cycles semi-procedural shader

Description

This shader gives a pretty good blend between two textures. NO textures are included, they can be found at cgtextures.com. Simply plug them into the image texture nodes and you're good to go!

A shader like this is can easily be brought into any other blend file by going to:

File,

Link / Append,

Rusty Metal,

Material,

Rusty Metal

The parameters are quite easy to use to give interesting looks,

This Blend file also contains some very useful cycles material node groups which can speed up your cycles workflow quite a bit. Just link or append the "CyclesNodePresets" material into an empty blend and save as default.

Hope you enjoy!

I think the metial name is misleading. A procedural shader shouldn't need external textures. Maybe it would be a good idea to call it semi-procedural, instead of procedural. Just my two cents...

Simply AMAZING. This node setup is just brilliant.. I don't just use it for metal with rust but also old peeled wood and such. It's fits so many materials!
