Taken from my time-lapse tutorial, this is the final result. It was only a quick excersize and the method used was very simple. 210 vertices, could be less if UV unwrapped, but this model uses only basic coloured materials purely for time's sake. I made a sword with uv image rapped on it and it only took 5-10 mins!
