space station interior

Description

Here's a little sci-fi interior I created for a project I am working on. Its rather a simple design but has just over 108000 poly count. No textures, I did the whole interior using only materials, I added lights but, I'm still learning about lighting. I put an observation room off the hallway which has a few tables and a planet (the planet has one texture that I made myself). The doors in the hallway are ready to add shape keys and drivers to (i.e. they have their own vertex group, door.L & door.R). Feel free to use this however you choose. I hope someone likes it and can use it to save their self a little time.

Hey I'm working on something similar that this would go great in. Would you mind if I used it in an animation? Also, great work.

Thank you! I do not mind at all if you use it, that's why I put it on here. I would however like to see your animation when its done. Just send me the link when you get it up and running.

Wow. Amazing file. Do you mind if I use this scene for a personal animation?

Ooops. To everyone downloading this file, I just realized I didn't add the texture map to the file. Sorry guys and girls, I'll try to remember it next time I upload something with textures.

Thank you. No I do not mind. All I ask is that you send me the link to your animations featuring any file of mine that you use. Thank you for asking though and just so everyone knows, anything I put on here I do so with hopes that it will be used in someones animation or game.

The only texture that I noticed a problem with was the glass. All I did was change the material to fix it. Also I'm rendering in cycles. I just selected all of your white lighting and set it to emit shader and then turned your sun spot up to a couple of hundred and now it's cycles friendly with only about 1/5 of the lamps. I'll definitely upload my blend file and youtube links to the render when it's finished. The one with your piece is next :)

Cool, I look forward to seeing it. I really need to start learning about the cycles rendering, I feel my work would looks so much better. But like my bio says I am just a noob......for now!

Hi MetalHead, I have rendered this scene in cycles, and I have to say youy done a brilliant job on the materials in BI, Its looks almost the exact same in cycles, which is very rare, its usually a much bigger difference rendering in cycles :)

Thank you Bizla for the comments and the link. sorry I haven't responded sooner, been having issues with my net provider. The robot looks AWESOME. Are you going to make an animation out of it? If so, I wouldn't mind working on that with you. Keep Blending!!!!!
