This is a model of a lantern with a candle inside.

The lantern is low-poly with subsurface modifiers still unapplied. The ornaments are made using curves and are modifiable as such. The entire model has axial symmetry and is made with an array modifier and object offset, so if you want to edit it, it is really easy to do so. The candle inside was borrowed from "Sintels shelter candles V.2" by ATemporalSkill also available on Blendswap.

The materials and lighting were set up to use with Cycles. The final render result has a simple Vignette filter applied to it via Blender Compositor.

The model was created based on a real lantern which I own.
